Metro: Covid jabs for 16 and 17-year-olds ‘by end of summer holidays’

“People aged 16 and 17 will be offered a Covid jab before they return for the new school year in September, reports claim.

The move is ‘likely to be approved within weeks’, as the Government hopes to secure the UK’s freedom once and for all on July 19.

Vaccines wouldn’t be offered to the teenage age group until August – just before they head back for the new term, according to The Sun.

The UK has a big enough supply of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to offer all 16 and 17-year-olds first doses by the end of August, it is understood….”
